i love lantern festival or is it called mooncake festival?well whatever the case,i love it all the
same, cause it's a festive with light and food..
speaking of food, i wonder why they call it mooncake. firstly, it's not round like the big old moon up there and secondly it isn't whitish yellow like the moon, unless you are talking about the snow-skin type but that's white as in snow white so you can't really say it's moonish enough. so why do they call it mooncake? beats me. but it's good to eat, especially those snow-skin types cause it's really tasty. furthermore, with all the light from the lanterns it's a pretty sight. the best part is the moon shining through when the green tea that has just been brewed gives off such aroma. at the streets, the little children bring out their new lanterns and walk around, one hand showing off their lantern yet at the other taking in the array of colours displayed and also breathing in that warm autumn smell. it's B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L .
so tomorrow the lanterns will land and the homosaphians will bond. although i can't really stand the icky music it gives off like some wayang tribal council, it's gonna be quite pleasing when all the other descriptions sets in. hopefully or i might just have to start flying back to pluto for some peace and that cold warmth. now i can smile like a bloody blogger...
